On April 28, the Group’s General Manager was invited to Henan University of Technology and officially appointed as “Career Mentor at Henan University of Technology” and “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentor at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Henan University of Technology.”Under the theme “Gaze at the Stars, Keep Your Feet Firmly on the Ground,” he delivered a special sharing session for current university students.
This marks another significant achievement in deepening university-enterprise cooperation and promoting industry-education integration between Henan University of Technology and Henan Yongchang, following their joint establishment of a research, industry, and education collaboration base. 

Two mentors appointed, deepening university-enterprise cooperation once again.

The event was chaired by Fan Xin'ai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Henan University of Technology. Secretary Fan welcomed Mr. Guo’s arrival and provided a detailed introduction to his educational background, entrepreneurial journey, and corporate management experience. She highly praised his dedication to lifelong learning, continuous self-improvement, and commitment to the real economy.
Subsequently, Zhou Zhiqiang, Director of the Career Development and Entrepreneurship Center at Henan University of Technology, and Wu Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, presented Mr. Guo with letters of appointment as “Career Mentor” and “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Mentor,” respectively. 

These two appointments represent not only the university's recognition of Mr. Guo's practical experience and value in mentoring but also its trust in the Group's industrial foundation, development capabilities, and sense of social responsibility. Moving forward, the Group will use this mentorship mechanism as a bridge to bring real-world industry cases, management experience, and innovative thinking into the campus. This initiative aims to help young students broaden their horizons, enhance their capabilities, and integrate knowledge with action.

Keep Your Eyes on the Stars, and Keep Your Feet on the Ground

During his keynote speech, Mr. Guo shared his genuine insights with the students, centering on four key aspects: personal growth, academic journey, entrepreneurial practice, and corporate development.

From earning dual bachelor's degrees at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, to pursuing master's studies at Zhengzhou University and the Party School of the Central Committee of the CPC, and furthering his education with an EMBA at Tsinghua University, to his upcoming enrollment in the DBA program at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Mr. Guo drew upon his own journey to inspire the students with a powerful message: "Your academic degree represents your past, your ability represents your present, and your learning agility represents your future."

When discussing entrepreneurship and corporate management, Mr. Guo outlined the Group's development path using three key phrases: "Industry-based, Diversified Synergy, and Steady Development." He pointed out that corporate growth is never achieved overnight. Instead, it requires building capabilities through long-termism, creating value through market practice, and navigating economic cycles through prudent operations.

Six Guiding Principles for the Youth

During his speech, Mr. Guo shared six pieces of advice to inspire the young students:

To grow upward, you must first take root inward.

When you are young, stay grounded and be willing to endure hardship. Build a solid foundation in your professional knowledge, learning abilities, and self-discipline.

Make steady progress every day, and time will eventually provide the answer.

Growth is not about a sudden burst of energy, but about long-term accumulation. If you repeat ordinary tasks to the point of perfection, you will ultimately achieve the extraordinary.

Only through lifelong iteration can you stay ahead.

Graduation is not the end of learning, but the beginning of proactive learning. The faster the times change, the more you must maintain a "zero-based" mindset (an open mind ready to learn).

Combine knowledge with action, for only action yields results.

Ideas only create value when they are put into practice. Often, you don't wait for a path to appear before setting out; rather, you set out first, and the path will appear.

Perseverance is the key to navigating through cycles.

Neither entrepreneurship nor life is a sprint. True victory belongs to those who can persevere through difficulties until the very end.

Only by walking steadily can you go far.

Young people should be bold enough to venture and try new things, but they must also respect objective laws, hold their bottom lines, and maintain a steady pace.

Mr. Guo concluded his message to the students with a wish: May you all "have light in your eyes and a path beneath your feet." Learn to think, learn to be self-disciplined, and learn to take responsibility, so that you may achieve a better version of yourselves through struggle and hard work.

During the Q&A session, students eagerly asked questions regarding academic planning, career choices, entrepreneurial challenges, and industry trends. Drawing on his personal experiences and the Group's practical development, Mr. Guo responded to each inquiry. His answers offered both strategic vision and practical advice, providing the students with valuable inspiration for their personal growth.

Moving Forward Together: A Promising Future

Following the lecture, Mr. Guo held in-depth discussions with the leadership of Henan University of Technology. The two parties exchanged views on industry-university-research cooperation, the commercialization of scientific research, and customized talent development, reaching a positive consensus on further deepening their collaboration.
